Terms and Conditions

Management reserves the right to refuse entry or request to leave any person/persons who do not abide by the following terms of entry below.
Please make yourself familiar with our playground rules and safety information displayed in-store.

  • -Children MUST be accompanied by an adult 18 years or over, this person is responsible for safety and supervision of that child or children at ALL times. Children and adults must wear socks whilst in the play area at all times for hygiene purposes.
  • – Parents/Guardians entering Kookaburra Kids agree to be bound by the terms of our waiver*
  • – All Children must be seated when eating or drinking. No food is permitted throughout the play area.
  • – At Kookaburra Kids, we do not allow any outside food to be brought into our premises with an exception of baby formula and baby food.
  • – Children need to be accompanied in their designated areas based on their age. The toddler area is strictly for children under the marked height range. If the child is continually entering the area and the supervising adult is not enforcing the rules this will result in warning from management and you may be asked to leave. No financial compensation will be provided for this.
  • – Kookaburras playground equipment is only suitable for children up to the age of 13 years old. Any individual who is over the age of 13 years will be required to pay a mandatory entry fee however cannot use the play facilities unless for supervision purposes.
  • – You reserve the right to report if toileting accidents or vomiting has occurred to ensure the correct procedures can be followed to clean the area. All nappies MUST be changed in the provided baby changing facility. Parents/Guardians are responsible or a cleaning fee may be charged.
  • – Each and every individual is responsible to protect the play equipment. Any damages made to equipment or furniture MUST be paid for in full by the parent/guardian.
  • – We do not take any responsibility for any lost or stolen items. We recommend not bringing anything that holds a high value to the play centre.
  • – In the situation of any extreme unforeseen circumstance beyond the control of Kookaburra Kids, the right is reserved to cancel or reschedule your booking at any time.

Birthday Parties & Private Venue Hire

Please read and agree the following private venue and party terms.

  • – Full payment is required to secure your function booking. Additional items such as food, drinks, platters or extra guests will be invoiced separately and this requires full payment 7 days prior to your event.
  • – We require confirmation of the guest list (children and adults names) 7 days prior to your event. Changes to this information must be sent via email to parties@kkap.com.au 3 days prior to your event. Failure to do so may result in delayed entrance to your event.
  • – Our cancellation policy is as follows:
  • Within 7 days, 100% cancellation fee (Non-Refundable)
  • Between 8 – 14 Days, 50% cancellation fee (50% Refund)
  • Greater than 15 Days, 20% cancellation fee. (80% Refund)
  • – Please ensure you arrive 15 minutes prior to your party room booking and include this time on your invitations to ensure enough time is utilised to set up and welcome your guests.
  • – Please respect other customers by vacating your room and allocated guest tables on time. Please be mindful of necessary clean up times.
  • – For bookings of 1-10 children, we allow 1 x adult per child, with table & seat allocation to accommodate. These seats may be located in the individual party room or on the main floor. Extra adults are charged individually, however we cannot guarantee seating or tables on the main floor for these additions.
  • – For bookings of 10+ children, we charge per additional child and additional adult, up to 25 of each, with table & seat allocation to accommodate. These seats may be located in the individual party rooms or on the main floor.
  • – For individual party room bookings, Kookaburra Kids do not allow external food or drinks to be brought into our premises, with the exception of a party cake and small desserts.
  • – For Full Venue Hire (FVH), we allow external food and catering as per our FVH Terms.
  • – We allow you to bring your cake in prior to your event, however we take no responsibility for damage or loss.
  • – A staff member will supply you with a knife to cut the cake, and this must be handed back to the staff member immediately after use.
  • – All payments received by Kookaburra Kids confirm acknowledgement that the customer has both read and understood the terms & conditions and waiver form.

Kookaburra Kids Conditions Of Entry

  • – Management reserves the right to inspect bags on entry and exit, and to refuse entry or remove guests for vandalism, stealing, offensive behaviour, failure to properly supervise persons under your care, failure to follow safety instructions or failure to comply with any conditions of entry.
  • – The duration of casual play is unlimited.
  • – Children must play in the age appropriate play structure/areas at all times.
  • – Socks are required to be worn in ALL play areas. This also applies to ADULTS. Socks can be purchased at entry.
  • – No running, abusive or rough play will be tolerated in the centre.
  • – Kookaburra Kids is a non-smoking, non-vaping environment.
  • – Children must utilise the equipment in a safe manner, observing intended designs. Under no circumstances should children attempt to climb up any slides or on the external parts of the structure.
  • – Children who are injured, sick or nauseous are not permitted to use the play facilities.
  • – We reserve the right to refuse entry and ask persons at our discretion to leave the premises.
